FOCUS GROUP
' I like that the album cover didn't feature the bands image as this is just predictable and it creates a sense of humbleness but at the same time lets me have my own interpretation of the albums meaning. I find the intense red white a painted texture gives it a unique style. I find the poster very different to the album artwork, but I like the bands edgy style and the casualness is relatable. '
' I like that the outward appearance of the album is reasonably minimalist yet inside it features quite uncoordinated yet cool individual covers and posters. I also like the record labels logo and that it doesn't take away from the artwork and therefor I don't feel like I'm being sold a label. I find the poster quite spooky and dramatic and it would make me curious about the album if I was unknowing.'
' I like the colour scheme of the Artwork and graphics but I think its thrown off by the individual covers and making it to uncoordinated, especially if it was designed by an artist like you said.. so Id prefer if it featured a cd booklet perhaps instead. I find the poster to really draw you into the bands persona, but it could be more coordinated to the album's aesthetic.'
' I find the poster a bit dated, but I find the album artwork quite appealing and i think it would work if it was out today '
'I much prefer the approach to the style of the album cover rather than the poster as it's more creative, yet I understand the poster is more serving a purpose and for the time was suited to they style.'
