When researching Genre Conventions I found it hard to find any recent bands that advertise their albums with magazine posters. This has a lot to do with the increase use of social media for advertising, so we felt it would be more fitting to design a website to advertise the bands album.
Below was the first draft for our website design. The main feedback we got was to change the background they felt it was too chaotic, it was also pointed out that it's not common for promotional websites to put the product as the background.
However they did like the idea of the teaser video and the liked the placement of text and links.
